Spoljašnji dizajn kabine daje vozaču odličan pregled puta i smatra se najboljim u domenu „Show Trucks“. Nesvakidašnji spoljašnji dizajn prati i odgovarajući dizajn enterijera koji obezbeđuje izvanredan komfor za vozača i široku paletu izbora po pitanju boje i materijala.

O maketi:

No ipak, preporučio bih je svim zaljubljenicima u auto-moto sport, a naročito kamione.

Heavy tractors from the Scania R-series family got a new member in 2013. It was R730 Streamline tractor with V8 Euro-6 engine of 537 kW and 16,4 liters, well known for its ruggedness, efficiency and reactivity. This model is designed to fulfill the highest demands in terms of fuel consumption and reliability. Outer cabin design provides excellent road overview for a driver and is considered the best among the „Show Trucks“. Exquisite outer design is followed by appropriate interior design which provides excellent comfort for the driver and a wide selection of paints and materials.

About the model:

The model represents the tractor Scania R730 in 1/24th scale, remodeled by the Svempas AB company for the Chimera racing team as a tractor and technical assistance vehicle for the racing truck of the team. Original model dates back to 2012, and it had few re-issues with changed decal sheets in most of them and two times some parts were updated. Parts are distributed over nine trees (three black, one blue-grey, one light grey, two beige, one chrome and one transparent), and there are seven rubber tires for wheels. Total part count is over 250, and there is a large sheet of decals supplied as well, with markings for two versions of the tractor with the addition of the sheet with chromed adhesives. On the first glance the model looks very nice and detailed, with the option of putting the cabin in open position in order to see the engine. There is no visible flash on the parts. The instruction booklet has 16 A4 sized sheets and interesting notice in the beginning, to clean the chromed parts of the chrome paint in places where they are supposed to be glued with sanding paper. Instructions seem easy to follow, but more on that during assembly. The recommended paints are Italeri acrylics, with codes also given in FS palette, so it is easy to convert them to desired paint range. There are two options of painting and decals, one for Chimera and the other for Diesel Techinca teams.

The model is not a beginner one, if nothing else then because of decals and lots of small parts which need to be carefully attached. However I would recommend it to all automotive aficionados especially to those that like trucks. I would like to thank Italeri for providing us with this sample.
